Who charters the boat

The dive sites, within what the day's conditions allow. The boarding time. The length of the day and the number of dives. Whether it is a recreational day, a technical day with live-boat drops, or a working day with no diving at all.
What stays the same
A Master Captain and a Dive Master aboard, the ten-diver cap, nitrox blended onboard at 22 to 40%, individual dry and wet bins, the enclosed head with a hot shower, and the safety standard the boat runs on every public trip. Captain Lora has run the Marissa since 2009, Chris since 2015, Rod since 2018, and Robin Jacoway has been tech dive master since 2009.

Questions we get about this trip
How many people can a private charter take?+
Up to ten divers, the same cap as every public trip. The Coast Guard rates the boat for 24 and we run ten on purpose.
Can we pick the dive sites?+
Yes, within what conditions allow on the day. The Captain makes the final call on the water.
Can a private charter be a technical day?+
Yes. Live-boat drops, teams of four, staged and deco bottles, CCR and sidemount are all accommodated. Nitrox is blended onboard. Trimix is not.
How is a private charter priced?+

Do you run non-diving charters?+
Working days for research, film and government clients, yes. We do not run bay cruises.
