Overview
One of the shallowest sites in the Point Loma kelp forests, and ideal for beginners and open water training. A mix of large boulders, plentiful marine life, and waters that lack a thermocline ;)
What to See
Garibaldi, opaleye, giant kelpfish, calico bass and sheephead, along with lobsters, urchins, sea stars, nudibranchs and octopi.
Typical Conditions
Open Water / beginner-friendly. Shallow, no thermocline.
